Blombos Nov 2019

The drought of the past 6 years in the Karoo of South Africa has been challenging, in nature as well as on our family and emotionally we could feel how we are being drained by the feeling of helplessness, we can only do this much in taking care of the land and animals and when you realize that this is not sufficient anymore, you realize it is time to take yourself out of this black hole and search with-in for answers and creative innovation, in order to be able to read and understand nature, we have to disconnect from our daily environment and connect spiritually to that place we often forget to go to... with-in.

Blombos is situated between the small coastal towns of Jongensfontein and Verlatenheid on the Southern Coast of the Western Cape region of South Africa, South of the Garden Route. It is off the beaten track and sparsely populated, marginal agriculture, with coastal dune landscapes and endless un-disturbed see-scapes, wildlife and solitude.

A Friend farms in this region and their property stretches down to a pristine part of the coast on a private 4x4 road taking you down to a private beach. We decided to camp out and be as close to nature as we want to allow ourselves. No cell reception, no people, only us and the see. Re-charging our dependence on mother nature, finding ourselves again within;

Join us on our short journey to a very special place:
